1. He is significant because he changed  photography by taking black and white pictures to  create a suspenseful  feel of the photo taken to preserve nature at it's finest

2.Adams started photographing yosemite in 1958. his work matured in quality and detail. no yosemite national park wouldn't have closed if he was still alive because he changed the photography world
